The Modern Feed mission is to create the hands-down easiest way to find and watch high-quality premium programming thru the web. Programming spans the gamut between "Lost" and the "Nobel Laureate Lectures." For us, the experience is not limited to just your computer. Our first mobile implementation is Modern Feed on the iPhone and we are now expanding to a range of other gadgets.

job responsibilities
Update and maintain the database on a daily/weekly basis based on assigned workflow
Research the internet for new programming content
Responsible for identifying and fixing bad links, errors and keeping the database current and up-to-date
Stay up-to-date with trends, ratings and industry news regarding tradition and new media networks and series
Flexibility to work long hours occasionally
qualifications/experience
Experience with new media and internet programming
Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred
Demonstrated problem solving skills, ability to multi-task and attention to detail
Team player, able to collaborate effectively with other functions within the Company
Strong work ethic and sense of urgency
Experience with fast-paced start-up, entertainment, or software development environments a plus

Participates in the analysis and definition of efficient, cost-effective application solutions
required qualifications / experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
5+ years of Java application development experience
Deep understanding of Multi-Tiered Web applications and scalability challenges
