Modern Feed & Supply, Inc. is a start-up based in Los Angeles and staffed by people who love great programming and enjoy taking all the pain out of guiding you to it. We at Modern Feed also work overtime to help you get legal programming to your iPhone or iPod (and we'll be adding more gadgets soon). The Modern Feed mission is clear: Make it simple. We do everything in our power to take all the technology guesswork out of finding and viewing amazing legal programming. We guide the Modern Feed viewer directly to the source, whether it is the network, distributor or destination that is offering the programming. We work overtime so that you can enjoy programming without thinking about the technology.
The overwhelming majority of shows on Modern Feed are free...but in the coming days we'll also be guiding viewers to for-purchase programming from both iTunes and Amazon Unbox.
At Modern Feed we've been scouring the web since 2007 discovering new shows, rediscovering old shows, and keeping an eye out on programs that aren't currently available but (we hope) will be in the future. Every day our Feeders comb through the web and hand select high-quality, full-length shows they think someone will appreciate. It's a labor of love and we do it for you!
Modern Feed is founded by J.D. Heilprin. J.D. is no stranger to finding new ways to help people use the Internet for entertainment. As the co-founder of RioPort, Inc., Heilprin together with partner MTV Networks helped create the first service to offer legal music downloads from the major record labels. Over the last fifteen years, he has worked with world-class media, technology and entertainment companies (including Deustch Advertising, MTV Networks, Hewlett-Packard, Fox Cable Networks, Apple Computer, DIRECTV and Movielink) to develop strategies surrounding digital entertainment and media convergence. He also advised Spain's Centro Medico Teknon, one of Europe's most advanced medical facilities, on integrating interactive, broadband applications and digital media into the modern healthcare environment.
